NEED HELP with boot up problem...
Ok, so I was really really stupid...I was installing service pack 2, and it froze, so I restarted, it tried to do a system recovery but froze again. The third time i restarted it gave me the "missing system32\drivers\ntfs.sys" message and said to try the recovery console. I went into the recovery console, but my problem is that it never asks me what installation to repair. So then I typed "dir" and it doesn't list anything on the C: drive. And the incredibly stupid part is that I didn't back up any of my information. Is there anyway to get my data back, or am I screwed?
thanks in advance |
