Front Side Bus Question?? New Mobile
I bought the new Mobile, 3.2gig, 800mhz fsb.
I ordered it the day they came out on their site, with the pc2700, 1gig of memory. Now, my lappy isn't operating at the 800 fsb is it?? I read the pc2700 is only 333mhz, is this correct? So what is my FSB operating at?? Now, if i put the pc3200(400mhz) in it, what'll the FSB be then? Will there be a big difference if i buy the pc3200? I know it's alot of questions, but i don't know alot of the technical stuff, yet. My first post by the way, alot of good info here, Thanks!! ![]() |

YOur still running 800mhz fsb but your memory speed is double the mhz speed...pc3200 takes full advantage of the 800mhz fsb...Im not posative on this but thats what I heard.
