Hello all, I've been reading about the spate of recent negative comments on AW notebooks and would like to add my 2 cents here. Around the end of last year, I purchased an Area-51m 7700 with a P4 3.4GHz 2GB RAM Geforce Go 7800 GTX config. I received that shipment in 10 days, all the way from Ireland to Hong Kong, where I live. The service was fantastic and in the last 4 months, I've had absolutely no problems with the notebook whatsoever. It has performed flawlessly. Alright, just got my Aurora, so I figured I should write a nice little review about it. So, let's start at the begining... (Apologies for spelling errors) The Phase Game (*que dramatic music*) So, as you may know, my phase game was long. Very long. As in, 66 days long. Yep, 66 full days. I placed my order on January 8th, 2006, hit phase 10 on March 14th, 2006 and recieved my lappy today, March 15th, 2006. This, for those who are worried, is extremely unusual. Far more likely is a wait of a week or two. I admit, I was considering cancelling and ordering a different laptop from somewhere else (Hypersonic, Dell, etc). But, I've had my heart set on an Alienware, so I waited. And waited....

well i got the beast on friday and all i have to say is THIS IS GOD'S GREATEST GIFT TO HUMANITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at least materially speaking!!!!! and there is 2 s55 benz's downstairs so i know the finer things... never thought i would be making that comparison!!!! Hands down the greatest laptop in the world!!!!!! YANG you will love it... when i play cs/sourse on all max max settings i get an fps rate between 120-155...actually every game i play at least has 40-75 fps when full eye candy is turned to the UBER level!!!!!! it is silky smooth.... EVRYTHING IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE ABOUT THIS MACHINE!!!!!!! ALL THE HATERS ON AW I KNOW WERE LIKE DAMN I WANT ONE!!!!!!!!!!! LOL ...

I just wanted to assure my place in the review line as the paucity of m7700 Aurora review is shocking... Well, folks, it's been a loooooong wait, but when you're 20 years removed from your 20's, the wait doesn't seem *quite* as long. We geezers suffer from time compression and all that.
