I just recieved this unit last week, and so far I am very impressed with it. When I first ordered this laptop I was 15 years old. I got it as a present as an encouraging thing to move to Spain from Sweden. And i built the best machine possible for the time... Now, about one year after the order comes my short review. First i want to say that the machine looks awesome, and it makes everyone go "aaaaaah I want!" But since i got it, I've had problems with it! It has been suffering from overheating, probarbly ever since i got it but its not until now that i've realized it. I spent two hours on the phone with a Tech Support agent to make it work again. And it did, for two days... now it's even worse then before, the blue light which indicates that...

Right, first of all this review is after just over 1 month of use, and its been some pretty intensive use. I dont have any pic's, you all know what it looks like hehe. If you cant be arsed to read the whole thing, in short : IT ROCKS Delivery : granted it took a while to get through production, Alienware rejected a whole batch of cases from thier supplier as the paint job wasent up to standard, therefore resulting in a pretty long wait for a new load. Well, on Friday August 11th, I recieved my mALX. Its a gorgeous machine and the screen is absolutely gorgeous. Ok, so I've been traveling my butt off. I got home to open this thing up and take it on the road with me cause I gotta leave out again tonight! Anyway she's a beauty. Only one drawback so far. The dvd drive is dead. Blame it on the shipping I guess. So they will send me another it will just have to wait until I get back on the 31st So I get to haul around my big external dvd drive so I can load stuff.
