The Counterstrike: Source Stress Test is a built in graphical demo that will test the performance of the video game Counterstrike: Source on the computer you are playing on. This test is also the same test as the Half-Life 2 Stress Test. The Stress Test can be found on the main menu of the game, and when activated, will run through a short demo evaluating the components in your computer. Here is an example of the test.

At the end of the Stress Test, the program will output a number that determines a score which represents the average ‘frames per second’ displayed. The higher the number, the better your computer can handle running Counterstrike: Source. To find how well your computer can run the test, the graphic options should be set on the highest possible resolution and settings. This will determine on what level your notebook stands.
