What CPU upgrade choices do I have for my laptop?

I have the below linked laptop computer. It's an HP DV4305US I've already upgraded the hard drive to a 7200rpm 100gb and installed a GB of RAM. I got this thing for practically nothing but it's a little slow and choppy for some of the tasks I need it to perform. I see that the processor is very easy to access and I would like to upgrade it to something faster. It's currently a Celeron M 360 1.4GHz.

1.) Can I use any Celeron M or Pentium M, say a 770 2.13GHz Pentium M if I wanted?

2.) Can I use any 478 pin processor such as a desktop P4-478?

3.) What about the Mobile Intel Pentium 4 Processor? Can I use that one? Seems to be some nice deals on these processors.

EDIT: New question. 4.) I have a non-working Sony VAIO PCG-TR3A with a 1GHz ultra low voltage Pentium M in it. Would this processor be faster than the 1.4GHz Celeron M already in my notebook? All I care about is speed.

Thanks for any help, just want to know what my choices are.

1. I am pretty sure you can use any CPU, and I am 100% positive you can use any 100mhz FSB Dothan CPU.
2. No
3. No
4. If the PM is a Dothan, it will have more cache, but thats not enough to overcome a 400mhz clock speed deficit, and if its a Banias its even worse than that. So no.

Thanks for your help.

I bought a Pentium M 1.7Ghz 1M CPU SL6N5 for $100, it seemed like a good deal. I hope it works.

Err, thats not a Dothan, thats a Banias, so there is a small chance that the motherboard's bios won't recognize the older CPU.
