Well Iam still trying the only thing I can think of is that when I install QP 2.3 it turns the c drive into a d drive and the QP drive into a c drive? Can anyone help me? (please)

Been there done that I used a linux recovery disk to change partition numbers
but in all honesty a reinstall worked better.

I dont have a linux disk. What do you mean by a "reinstall"?
I have tryed to reinstall windows but the QPDP partition is set to c:\?
If I format and reinstall I end up back to square one? Any hints as to what to do would be great! Thanks

Has anyone tried installing XP Embed and Quickplay Seperatly. I Have a TX1000 and as you might expect I get the BSOD. I'm going to try two separate installs and keep you posted

Thx men 4 nice thread. But QP Direct is working in my DV2100 with the only 1 partition (I means C: only). One more matter is that in QP Direct, when I click windows flag, it does not change into full load XP, it cannot be turn off and I have to keep power button pressed for some while.
I do think that QP Direct is not so usefull but much trouble and decide not to use it.

hello before begin Im thank's for all in this forum my dv6000 with xp have Quick Play 2.3 and it is work's OK. But in QP doesn,t work's my WebCam. In xp WebCam work's OK. What is problem?? Sorry for my English.

hi plsss help me about my quickplay 2.3 direct id work it about a week.... i have 3 partion all of my my parrtition is set to a primary partion and also i follow d intruction not to format the f: leave it raw....






then i extract the hpqpdp and qwq in c swsetup....... then when i install the setup of hpqpd,, then when it goes to setup status it will hang at 15% and msg box Appear and contain

I have a big Problem... I try 1 million times install the HP quickplay direct and all times i have a message BSOD.
My notebook is a new DV5-1004nr...
Any one have a good experience on this model?

i'm new here.
i have a problem about Quickplay direct 2.3 installation.
after format i install window XP then drivers.
i shrink my partion and leaving 1027.6 MB UNALLOCATED space.
then i extrack HPQPDP to c:\SwSetup\HPQPDP folder and run setup.exe.
but when it say it need to reboot my window >> i click yes >> when it reboot my window can't reboot again it always got blue screen .
can anyone tell me how to fix this? plss
i'm using dv2000(dv2102TU).
