---Release Notes---

It seems that NVIDIA has started to finally release worthwhile drivers, and the new ForceWare 169.09 continues this (hopefully long-lasting) trend. Performance is improved in many areas over the already impressive MobileForce 169.04. Because of the number of requests, this driver is being released for Windows XP and Windows Vista, in BOTH 32-Bit and 64-Bit versions. So, as always, have fun, report back, and get to gaming!!!

---Other Information---

If you don't use follow these directions, and whine about problems with the driver not working properly, we're going to ask you to use follow these directions anyways, so please, update your driver properly . . . We will thank you later.

Please post RESPONSIBLY!!! We will answer your question as soon as possible.

All issues and/or concerns regarding this particular MobileForce driver are to be confined to this thread. Any other topics created regarding issues with this or any other driver will be REMOVED. Please, confine all discussion and feedback to this thread. It makes our job easier, and it makes it easier for others to view feedback on the driver release.

Hello!
It's my first post in a forum like this but I will tell you how much I want to thank you for your job.
I have tried the 169.01, then the 169.04 : this two drivers are amazing on my rig and my geforce 8600M GT turns like a charm.
I'll try the new ones.

Thank you again for your job!

I'll post some feedback about this drivers on the next days!

I don't like benchmark, so my opinion is based on my experience on gaming and there are the results :
I have a notebook with 2Gb RAM, a geforce 8600M GT 512Mo, a intel Core 2 duo T5450
BIOSHOCK : very smooth, a awesone IQ and no framerate drops like anothers drivers.
SEGA Rally : What a driver! No Black clipping anymore when i use the replay fonction after a race. all is smooth like a charm!!!
CRYSIS : of course, the bug of the reflection of the water is gone and the framerate too but the game is always playable at 24 Fps on medium specs.

All the others games : nothing new but nothing bad too.

Sorry for my bad english...

Thank you so much for this driver!!!!!

A keeper for me, oh yeah!

Try to be patient guys. Tony is having some issues with his internet at home, and hasn't been able to get on in a couple days. I don't have the files on hand to reupload at this point, but if anybody else does they could up it to rapidshare or something similar for the time being. Sorry for the issues guys!

I have had zero issues overclocking with these using ATITool. I don't have XP to test with so I can't prove it either way for the XP drivers, but under Vista, I have no issues at all cranking up the clocks. You may just want to try a very clean install again (following Tony's suggestions on the sticky) and see if this changes anything. I cannot reproduce the issues you guys are having though.

ya it is wierd then. i have tried multiple times now with 169.09 and 16.12 and also using both atitool and riva tuner, but i cant overclock. whenever i install 169.04 or before drivers, i have no problem overclocking. I did a clean install of each driver.

ahh, tried bioshock with these finally

IQ not good, washed out colours / flashes and pointer arrow ingame is like an HDR blob

this was just after patched game with new update, and (since no overclock) just std clocks

going back to 163.69 to check if it was the patch or the driver
