You mean NTFS and FAT32
NTFS is better lets just put it at that.. And CACHE is the amount of buffer memory on a harddrive..the more the better! ex WesternDigital Drives with 8 mb cache. |

"better" is somewhat relative here... if you ever plan to install linux on your machine along side windows (perhaps for work - or just to try), you are better off sticking with fat32...

If you do any type of video editing you will want to go with NTFS. You will not be limited to 4gb captured files. With NTFS your capturing of DV is limited only to the size of your HD.
