This laptop was purchased in March 2005 for $3680 US. I will include an alienware backpack ([1] Alienware® Premium Backpack XL) - this is the extra large one that was made to carry the 17 inch 7700 laptop. Also included are the installation CDs and and manuals. I also have the original boxes which I will use to send this laptop to the winner.
[1] Area-51m 7700 Operating System: Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional with Service Pack 2 Case: Area-51m 7700 Case with 17" WideSXGA+ 1680 x 1050 LCD Display with Built-in Camera - Xeno Grey Processor: Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor 560J w/ HT Technology 3.6GHz 800MHz FSB 1MB Cache Motherboard: Intel® 915P Chipset Supporting PCI-Express Memory: 2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SO-DIMM at 533MHz - 2 x 1024MB Video Card: Area-51m 7700 NVIDIA GeForce™ Go 6800 with 256MB of DDR3 memory Sound Card: Intel® High-Definition Audio (24-bit, 192Khz) with 7.1 surround sound Hard Drive: Extreme Performance - RAID 0 - 120GB (60GB x 2) 7200 RPM ATA100 - Hitachi Optical Drive One: NEC 8X DVD+/-RW Combo Drive Ethernet NIC: Integrated 10/1000Mb Gigabit Ethernet NIC Wireless Network: Internal Wireless 802.11b/g miniPCI Card Modem: 56K Modem with V.92 Technology 4 USB Ports: More than enough ports to keep you digitally connected with your other electronic devices. 2 IEEE 1394 Firewire Port (4-pin): A popular connection for digital camcorders, this port ensures that the Area-51m 7700 can connect with almost any digital device. 7-in-1 Memory Card Reader: With support for the most popular flash types such as SD, MS, and MMC flash memory information from nearly any digital device including digital cameras and PDA's can be transferred to the Area-51m 7700 with ease. S-Video Port: The included S-Video port allows you to utilize both TV and HDTV signals. PCMCIA Slot: The included PCMCIA slot accepts any Type I/II card. DVI Port: For the occasions when you want to output your work to a projector or larger monitor for presentations or easier viewing. The digital DVI output ensures the highest quality image will be seen. Although I did purchase a 1 year warranty, Alienware does not allow transfers. Here is the quote from the alienware support site: Unfortunately, the Alienware Warranty for all systems is not transferable as explained in the Terms and Conditions Agreement, inside the Alienware Product Manual. The Alienware Warranty states: “You agree and represent that you are buying the products governed by this Agreement for your own use and not for resale.” This laptop has been into the Alienware depot for overheating issues and they replaced the motherboard and video card in December 2005. No further issues have arisen since the repair. I am not posting any pics because the laptop looks exactly like the ones you can see on the Alienware site. This laptop has no blemishes or dead pixels and is basically in perfect condition. As stated before this laptop was purchased in March 2005 for $3680, I want $2700 plus a flat $50 shipping fee to anywhere in the CONUS. I will accept paypal (michael_at_chaosportal.com), money order, or personal check. (money order and checks must wait to clear my bank) PM me if you are interested. If you arent interested or think im asking too much, please keep it to yourself. Thank you. Last edited by chaosportal; 12-24-2005 at 12:50 PM. |

you have to post a price, there are not for best offer items here... always post a price and its best to also post pics of it to attract buyers. as well as discuss the method of payment in your listing.
