Asus Z70VA Photo Documentary (LOTS OF PICS)

Hey all, I got my lappy yesterday (as found in my other post) and figured I'd make a photo documentary of me setting it up, etc... Here we go...

full pic

WOO the box arrives. It was rescheduled for the next day so it was kind of a surprise. There was a big dent in the box though that had me a bit worried (towards the right)

full pic

Contents of the outer box... anyone notice how small the bubble wrap is? WTF is that supposed to protect?

full pic

Closer pic of the case and what I found in the case (not included: silicone gel packs)

full pic

Hmmm... which one contains the laptop? It's a mini-lottery!

full pic

Oops... I cheated, bah oh well... I was so close to just ripping everything open.

full pic

Just opening the accessory box.

full pic

oooOooOooOOoOO... Pretty

full pic

Just a little peek.

full pic

The first full look of my new baby!

full pic

All the included accessories... Why is there 3 G2P cards? Did they think I would forget who I bought it from?

full pic

Pic of the bottom w/ the battery installed... What's that hiding there? It's another G2P card! I guess it's just in case the z70va wants to know where it came from... since it was adopted.

full pic

Left side of the laptop...yeah

full pic

The back of the lappy... lot's o connections that I won't be using

full pic

Right side of the laptop... pretty DVDRW +/-

full pic

First time booting up the system... At this point I almost regret not putting another $80 into it so I could use it out of box.... soooo impatient

full pic

Formatting the HD, nice blue color

full pic

Very Nice!

full pic

Touchpad... looks like lots of dust but there's nothing on the actual unit... weird.

full pic

x700...nuff said

full pic

Little blurry, but still pretty

full pic

Quick launch buttons... n..ice

full pic

Umm... keyboard. I wonder what this will look like in a couple of months?

full pic

It's almost... poetic

full pic

Desktop after I've loaded all the drivers and some software. Can anyone else figure out what the hell my background is? I still can't figure it out...

full pic

Side view of the desktop, quality of camera isn't great but the screen sure is. It almost looks glossy in person, I can see a reflection off the side. It's PERFECT. I was worried about it being 'too' matted, but I have not 1 complaint (except maybe I'd like it a TOUCH brighter).

full pic

Dual browsing. Not new to me since I have a 2005FPW, but it's still nice NBR and my portfolio (http://www.jsupnick.com)

full pic

A closer look at my portfolio

full pic

Sharky is a pimp...

full pic

Just checking out how CS:S looks. There's no way in hell I'm going to try playing w/ a touch pad.

full pic

Nipple F***!!!

full pic

Multi-tasking... Dream Theater kicks ass

full pic

My desktop setup as of late. My 2005FPW has much different colors than the z70va. I fixed it a little but it's still lighter.

full pic

My Dell 2005FPW setup

full pic

Again... my lappy setup

Well, if you looked at all the pics... you have no life... But who am I to say that when I am the one who created this? Eh? Anyways hopefully this provides some entertainment to some people, if you didn't like it then you are probably just jealous because you don't have this laptop
