fn-esse buggy on Satellite A100?

Hey all,

First post.

I recently got my first laptop—a Satellite A100. I've been using the fn-esse hotkey function to assign a pop-up menu with my apps in it to a keyboard shortcut (fn + q). It seems a bit buggy, as I added an application shortcut to the folder and the pop-up won't update. Previously I've been able to refresh the contents of the folder to the pop-up menu by clearing then reassigning the folder to the same key. Last night it wouldn't update and I had to assign the pop-up to a new key (fn + a). I even assigned a different folder to key "q" and now when I assign only the app folder it shows the contents for both folders with the contents of the unrefreshed app folder. Any suggestions?

Also, for some reason, it only allows me to navigate the pop-up using the touchpad. In the help files it says you can use the arrow keys and ESC to navigate. For some reason they don't work. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Otherwise I'm really happy with my new laptop.
