Arrow Skepticism with a hint of Enthusiasm(Lamborghini)

The Lamborghini seems to have been taken with a load of skepticism and many "once-overs"...people thinking that it's just another shared-marketing idea/product designed and will fall flat as a product...following in acer's footsteps it seems withe it's Ferrari....i don't understand why more ppl are looking forward to the mass production of the Lamborghini...but then again, all of the following crammed into a 15" screen?...i'm skeptical as well:

Specifications
Platform: Intel Centrino Duo
CPU: Intel Core Duo Processor T2500
Chipset: Intel 945PM
WLAN: Intel 3945ABG
LCD Screen: Colour Shine Glare Type 15" SXGA + (1400 x 1050)
Graphics: nVIDIA GeForce 7400/ 512MB Turbocache
HDD: 120GB
ODD: DVD 9.5" Super-Multi Double Layer
RAM: 1GB DDRII – 667 MHz
OS: Windows XP Professional
Let's be real though...asus has created some top notch lappy's before...i'm still kinda depressed about the w2j as that is what i was originally looking at...the stats are from asus' website so yeah, i'm looking forward to a store carrying one just so i can get my hands on it to see how they did it? problems: heat? sound? with all those specs...who knows...i didn't find anything about the ram as far as 1 stick of 1 gig...or 2 sticks 512...it seems that most ddr2 have the 1 gig with another slot...upgradeable to 2 gbs? hmm...but in either way it's friggin' gorgeous!

Now i've heard the Lamborghini has announced for a while (the laptop lol, NOT the car =P ), but I have yet to see it being sold at all. Is Asus waiting for COmputex in June to announce it??

The listed specs arent impressive at all. Its pretty standard. To me, it will be a very disapointing release

Its the same as the V6j, with a shiny lid

The ASUS Vx2, Vx3, etc. are to be new machines though...

Wow, it looks exactly the same as the V6J except for the fact that it has a 120 GB drive. That's about it.

All those specs is just speculation, the actual specs maybe completely different. There has been discussions on it over at NBR and even the reputable retail reps don't know what is exactly planned for it. There is mentions of IPS like the v6va but the graphics no body knows yet. I doubt it will have the same specs as the v6j... It will be a flagship product... Its suppose to be next step up from the v6j which all share the common v6 chasis. It's estimated cost is around $2800 - $3200.

It definitely doesn't have a good price/performance ratio. And the video card is subpar. The new ferrari's being announced and will eat the lamborghini for breakfast, lol.

When is dell going to join up with AMC, and make the Dell Delorean?
The screen will have to be a "gull-wing" door design. And it will be all stainless steel. Nice. lol.

I'll wait until someone comes up with a laptop to compliment the Maybach Excelero (aka My Batmobile)
