I'm thinking about buying this Toshiba Satellite M70:
Toshiba Satellite M70-366 - Pentium M 735A 1.7 GHz - 15.4" TFT Intel Pentium M 735A 1.7 GHz 2 MB - L2 Cache 1 GB (installed) / 2 GB (max.) - DDR II SDRAM ( 2 x 512 MB ) 60 GB - Serial ATA-150 - 5400 opm Intel GMA 900 Would the Sims 2 run ok on this notebook? Another question while I'm writing: integrated graphic cards give longer battery life and make the least noise, is that right? With any other graphic card... will there be more noise? Silence is most important to me, more important than gaming. But I'm also a fan of Sims 2... Are there any silent notebooks that would run this game? Thanks in advance for any advice! I'm quite clueless about computers, just trying to learn now, as I'm going to buy my first laptop ![]() |

Your machine is well quilified for SIMS 2. The min req. for that game are 700 MHz, 32 MB video and 256 MB RAM. Of course in this case the game will load in 5 min and the graphics sucks but with a GF 400 MX already runs fine. Anyway my tip is:
- is you already have the laptop the try out with a demo - if you don't have tha laptop try asearch on the graphics card (but if it has 64 MB RAM it should do the job - even if it is an integrared one) |
