Exclamation Removing M7700 (AMD64 X2) CPU Heatsink...

I searched around a bit for any info on this subject and didn't find anything... I build desktop machines and never worked with a laptop before so I don't really want to end up breaking it since I really don't want to have a $3700 paperweight. I got my laptop back in late January and always noticed how the heat poured out the side by the video card and where my left palm rests. After I read the overheating guides I ordered AS5 and opened up the GPU module no problem, heatsink was a piece of cake to get off and applied AS5 and put it back in no problem. Now my problem was the CPU, never seen a heatsink with giant copper rods attached to it - figured its just one big piece kinda sitting in there... so unscrewed the heatsink plate and tried to pull it out but wouldn't budge, didn't want to try and force it out and break it... so I came here to see if someone can help me out or point me in the right direction.

I realize now that I should have done the 2-3 yr Warranty but its out of the question now. I just take extra care of my machine, clean it out once a week and keep a close eye on the temperatures coming from the CPU, HD, and GPU.

CPU w/o AS5 runs around 45c Idle and low 60s Max load.
HD runs good around 35-40c all the time, never really notice changes in it.
GPU w/ AS5 runs around 55c Idle and low 70s Max load.
I also use a Lapcool 4 (always) and make sure it has plenty room to breathe.

Before I applied my AS5 to the GPU, it would BSOD or just shut off after gaming for a few hours straight. Read posts here and opened it up (warranty was out, so figured had nothin to loose), put the AS5 on, ran my Alien Respawn Kit, and never had a BSOD or Lock-up since then (1 month and still runnin smooth even gaming for 4+ hours on end). Just haven't had time since then to work on getting to the CPU, so here I am now, so when I do, I'll know exactly what to do right away.
