Students look before purchase!!

In case any of you folks out there are students/ school faculty members and are planning on buying an hp product please check out this website. It is the Academic Purchase Program website by hp. It's basically the Hp home store but with extra discounts for us students and school faculty members. Just a heads up cuz you guys know us students need as much beer money as possible j/k

http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/sh...egister_app.do

I just thought I'd post this because I was about to purchase a 6000t and a 2000t which after taxes were gonna cost me 2800 but now i'm looking at 2500 but with more features for instance now I can afford to get the sexy little
t72000 (now say it with me everyone tooo-gee-gaw-huurtz )

this site was a real eye opener for me because I had no idea there were cool discounts for us student folks

sweet deal whoaa, I'm debating on whether I should get the dv6000 vs. the dv2000 the reason why is mainly because the 6000 sports the 256 mb 7400 card and I don't know well enough to tell if the the card is substantially better than the 128 mb 7200 card (which obviously is available for the 2000).

does anyone have any valuable links , info , threads, posts, anything that would help me out a bit here?
