Exclamation Acer Aspire 2025 miniReview

Got my apsire 2025 today. Ordered it about a month ago from CDW, so a bit of a wait.

Just wanted to post some quick benchmarks, and i'll put up a more thorough review + pictures tomorrow.

Out of box performance:
3mark03: 2910
3Dmark01: 10205

UPDATE
Installed Omega drivers: same 3dmark03 score
3dmark01 goes to 10500
All done at the default core/mem speeds

Not too bad at all in my opinion.

General notes:
Really good build....feels really sturdy and the palm rest area remains pretty cool regardless of what you're doing.

Fan goes on when gaming, and is not terrible but is definitely noticeable.

AWESOME screen. Really bright with great viewing angles and NO DEAD PIXELS

More to come soon

But it seems those clocks are pretty low and dont show the true potential of the 128mb radeon 9700. I have seen clocks of other notebooks with similar specs (with the Pentium 4 however) and they get a much higher default clock and even an overclocking to 500/300 still doesnt have much artifacting or any problems.
Oh btw, what drivers are you using? The latest Omega drivers?
