Problem in LCD display

Hello!

I've recently acquired an Aspire 2026WLMi. I traded my first notebook for a second one, due to problems in the LCD!
With this second notebook, I'm also experiencing some problems with the LCD screen. The brightness of the LCD is not well distributed along the screen, and in one of the corners, you can see a darker display.
Other "problem" I have is that when the screen is displaying black, I get a whitish shadow in the bottom of the screen.
Could you help me out with this? Is this normal? What should I do?

Yes. the whitish glow come from the Backlight that provide lighting for the LCD panel.
