Disabling TAA with Omega 2.5.90
I was trying to use ATItool to determine the maximum clock speed for the radeon 9600 in my Gateway 7405GX, but it warned me that TAA was on. I can't seem to find the option to disable it anywhere in the display properties where everythng else is. Does anyone know how to disable it?

Disp;ay Settings>Settings>Advanced> There should be lots of tabs there. Two of them will read "OpenGL" and "DirectX". Each has it's own AA setting. Turn it to "application preference" (something to that extent), and it should disable it. This is assuming the ATI control panel is installed.
Edit .. brain fart, just re-read your question ... read as AA instead of TAA. I don't have my notebook in front of me right now, but there should be a utility in the program menu (listed in Omega Drivers subfolder) for enabling and disabling TAA. Last edited by Thunder_PC; 10-29-2004 at 06:37 AM. |

2.5.90 was my first install of the omega drivers so I didn't have the TAA Switch tool that Thunder mentioned.
I ended up uninstalling 2.5.90 beta , installing 2.5.67 that I found HERE , and then reinstalling 2.5.90 on top of 2.5.67 And now, ALL IS WELL!!! Simple, eh'? Thanks to Thunder for assisting me in PM ![]() |
