Aspire 2025 Memory Upgrade...
Well, Im ready for a major memory upgrade on my Acer 2025. I looking to replace the chip accessible via the bottom with a 1GB chip. So far the cheapest guaranteed compatible chip I have found is a crucial 1GB for $184.
I have found both corsair and kingston chips for $145 however they are not the samepart # as the one that their configurator selects. Also I have found Kingmax chips for $125. Just wondering if anyone has mixed the factory memory with aftermarket, and if so if there were any problems. Also any memory people have used that they know was actually compatible would be helpful. I dont wanna blow that much cash and then have it not work with the chip under the keyboard. |
