Replacing the m680's wifi with the Super G+ gigabyte WI-AG02 802.11 b/g

Is it possible to replace the Gateway m680's wi-fi with the new Atheros chipset - 108 Mbps wireless LAN mini-PCI card IEEE 802.11 g+b wi-fi standard NIC adapter for laptops?
This should make the m680 pick up the signals better.

There is a person in the Dell XPS2/9300 forum that sucessful install it in his XPS2 and I am just wondering if we can do the same thing for the m680.

Also, if it is possible, is it easy to install?

Is there a link to the actual product? Without knowing the actual specs/formfactor/etc., it's hard to say whether it would work or not.

There's no reason it shouldn't work. Go for it. I've replaced the wifi card on other notebooks and it's as simple as replacing a memory DIMM. The only extra step is connecting the antenna.

But where would it be if I open the bottom of the computer? I know where the RAM compartment is, but not sure where the wi-fi is at.
