Holy Crap I just realized I could do the exact same thing with my 9880... just move the DVD to the bottom DVD drive space... then put the antenna plug in the blank spacer for the other DVD slot... where does on order an antenna and plug like that... and where did you buy that socket?.. I did a quick google search and could not find any sockets...

Thanks for that awesome site... I was looking through and was amazed at the number of socket types... which format do you suggest... for now I just wanted to attach a 9dB antenna... and depending how far I live off campus next year... an parabolic antenna...

can you post links to the exact cable from that site that we need? What is the name of the connector that attaches to the the wireless card?

The 5 dbi external antena is very bad a piece of coaxial cable is best!!!
