Just wondering what your experience has been if you do...

Thanks...

A good friend of mine did on his 5680. I think he had issues with drivers or with something else so he went back to XP.

I would except apparently ActiveSync isn't supported on Server and I write code for Pocket PC devices.

Well, that bites...

Hopefully someone can tell me if they ran w2k3 on it... I figure if it supports XP it "should" work... but before we know it we "should" all over ourselves...

I would love to have some of the features of 2003 on my notebook. Plus I could run XP, LINUX etc. as well running 2k3....

Personally I dont see why people would want W2K3. If you want server software, use *nix.

I'm not positive, but I don't think ActiveSync runs on *nix either.

Heh.... No, what I meant was run XP for normal use and *nix as server software.

Am not going into a religous discussion about OS'es here besides saying that EVERY OS has his time and place.

Personally I like W2k3 MUCH better then Unix. It's a lot easier to administer in a big environment then Unix for instance. Cause face it, if you need a large number of admins how many GOOD or GREAT Unix admins are there...??

It is a PERSONAL preference though...

And to make that clear.. I think most OS'es have a time and place...

File and Print NOTHING beats a Novell box....

Oh, and then we have a GREAT OS called OS2 that went by the wayside....

Of course I still prefer DOS.... lol.... Gimme me my prompt...

I'm not saying anything. It IS a matter of personal preference.
