J.clausse's Nvidia drivers are the only ones ill use anymore. Ive tried the official Nvidia drivers as well as drivers from tweaks-r-us (i think thats the name) and his always seem to work the best for me. Especially on EQ2 and Doom. If you stop posting them then ill dont know what im gonna do =) Thanks for the post and please keep them comming.

I had the same problem with the official 77.77 release from the nVidia site yesterday. So I'm going back to the 77.72 official nVidia driver that I know works.

I've had good luck with j.clausse drivers for everything but BF2. Far Cry even ran well with his drivers. BF2 is just really demanding and running with such high quality in mind isn't doable with the performance loss it brings to the game. For anything else I would recommend his drivers first and foremost above all.

Trash BF2

I saw a lot of probs with this game over the web, i don't understand how a company can sell a buggy game.

I'm playing brother in arms and noticed no probs.

I don't have any problems with it when I use the right video driver and keep the cache folder clean and deleted. I agree though, they rushed it to market, I mean 2 patches in the first couple weeks?! I had problems installing my DVD version on the DVDr drive and had to put it in the DVD/CDRW drive, I'm assuming the read speed had something to do with that though. Other than that, no problems here.

I use Guru's 77.70 drivers. They aren't tweaked as high as other drivers and work best for me with BF2, FarCry, and Steam's games. I like J's tweakes, but they seem to be pushed too far and frame rates tend to suffer. Maybe we need 2 tweaks, j's super-high quality and one for simple high efficiency. Just a thought.
