5600D Black screen

The screen on my 5600D went black. On reboot - sometimes - the screen will come on and off, but always goes black w/i a second or two. Help.....

Black screen

The inverter died. Replaced it with a new one (plug in a new inverter board) and now works fine.

Search the internet for your make and model. Mine cost about $120.

got my inverter and opened up my laptop but cant find were it goes any help to be had?

look at the stickies up top in the main 56xx forum. there's a service manual in there.
