RAID0 mucho problems

Thread Starter
I've been searching for days and i can't find a similar problem to mine. I just bought a new 40gb hard drive to match the one i have now. i changed the bios to the raid setting and when i attempted to create a raid 0 array, it gives me an error message in a flashing red box that says "error occurred when modifying array..system is going to REBOOT" I have no idea what the error is, and i tried raid 1 and it didn't give me any problems. I have already cleared the partition off the original hard drive using another computer, i just deleted the partition.

I'm a long time reader in these forums i love em. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I know you have to load up the raid drivers from the aw website, when exactly that is I don't know. I myself prefer having no raid options and 2 different physical drives. 1 80 gig and 1 500 gig. heh. I find raids can sometime be a pain to setup, thats something that I've see to be a problem on yours

you may have to fdisk and remove all partitions first. keisur or j.clausse may post on this thread too, they'll know
