Help - I think I've just killed my Sisters Ipod shuffle - Help!!

To cut a long story short, my Sis's Ipod Shuffle started going screwey and wouldn't work with her PC, I looked it up on the net and decided doing a restore and format would be the best thing to do.

However, I was supposed to use the Ipod Updater to do this, wheras I just did a straight format in windows. Now its just being detected as a flash drive, and I can't find any way to restore the system files on it.

Any ideas???? This is pretty desperate, were going on holiday tomorrow, she's scared of flying and needs (It would be useful anyway) this to get through the flight.

Thanks in advance.

OK, I've fixed that one (Phew) - but I'm still having issues getting it to mount with software updater... Itunes finds it, but won't write to it.

Oh Man! That totally reminds me of the time I went to the polo match ... um ... at the polo field. There were these big horses and people were riding on them. It was cool. Really cool. They would ride down to one end and then back to the other. Really fast sometimes too. And then they would also just trot down the field some, but not all the time since they were playing a game. Then this one horse took a dump on the field. A dump. Really. I couldn't believe it, but it really happened. The another horse did it while running down the field. By it I mean took a dump of course. When we got to go onto the field to replace the divots I was really excited. I started to run all over the field pretending I was a horse and then sometimes that I was the ball. When I was the ball I would roll myself into a ball and my friend would come up behind me and kick me in the butt to get me rolling. He missed once an dkick me in my face. Oh man there was so much blood. It was OK though because he was a good friend and I told him to kick me. He said I could kick him in the face too, so I did. We were just laughing at each other and snorting blood into our throats when The Hoff came up. He lives in Malibu you know. Really. I bought a star map and his house was on it and in Malibu. Really. The Hoff thought we were funny laughing at each other with bloody faces so he offered us some gauze to soak up some of the blood that was getting on our new shirts. They were white with little green palm trees. Pretty cool. We didn't realize it at first, but The Hoff had on the same shirt, so we knew why he offered us the guaze. The Hoff was really nice. He liked our shirts so much that we went out to dinner with him after the polo match and stepping on the divots. The Hoff almost stepped on the dump the running horse laid while running. That was funny. Really. I started laughing so hard a big clot of blood flew out of my nose an onto my friends face. He just laughed and snorted a clot on my face. I laughed too. Man that was a good day.

Really.

You may be thinking, "WTF? What does this have to do with anything?"
Exactly. You've just been PWNED by the OFF-TOPIC group!
