Q about LCD monitors

I just got delivered a 2405fpw, thing is huge and really nice. when it comes to setting up stuff and all, computers and me dont get along

I would like to know if there's a way of using the 2 monitors at the same time, the lcd and the notebook's monitor, meaning, if i am using maya for example, i can have the main window on the big screen and some miscellaneous stuff on the notebok monitor, know what i mean, maybe this question is kind of stupid but i spend almost 1/2 hour trying to make this thing work and no success.

Thanks guys

Its a rather easy process once you figure out how its done.

Basically attach the LCD screen to your notebook by which ever connection you prefer. Then in Display properties go to your advanced button and then the nvidia tab. You want to set your screen up as Dual screen mode and if you have the most recent drivers this should appear. Now if you want to set up your LCD as the Main screen then head back out to the main part of display property and drag screen 2 to the left of screen 1 this should get the results you want.

But always use the DVI connector if you have that option, because that's the highest quality connection (it's a digital connection, vs. an analog one).

Thanks everyone, yeah i got it working. It seems the m70 does not have a DVI connector, just the analog one i think, but i see it on the 9300.
