x64 Printer Drivers and PDF Writers

Thread Starter
I'm running an Acer Ferrari 3200. I upgraded to x64 for a month now. But haven't been able to setup my printer. The OS just doesn't recognize the drivers, same when I install PDF writers. Does anyone have any tips?

I've already downloaded the drivers in the other thread, launch manager, etc. I'm also getting a lot crashes (blue screen - about once every 3 days), usually when i'm playing music or running messenger. anyone else experiencing this?

Hi, and the printer is? See here http://developer.amd.com/drivers.aspx for a list of X64 device drivers...

You need x64 bit driver of your printer from manufactur since 32 bit drivers wont work. Unfortunately most manufacturers havent bother to produce, Canon for example, only release x64 driver for their recent high end Pixma lines.
You can use compatibility printer drivers supplied by Microsoft though.
Take a look at this guide from MS site.

Same thing for PDF, Adobe still yet to produce the x64 driver for PDF printer.
Luckily theres alternative to produce pdf document by using Redmon.
Please follow this thread if you're interested.
