dell inspiron 6000d

got me one tonight at the dell outlet store- $653. got x300 64mg video adapter, 512mg ram, cd-rw--2915 wirelss, wxga screen and 1.6ghz cpu.

thought it was a fairly good deal, jumped on it.

i thought it was, espically configured with a video adapter. should get it this week, got my fingers crossed that its in good shape

no upgrade-will use it to watch a few dvd,s, got 4 desktops that do the heavy work

How the HELL did you get that good of a deal at a kiosk???

"should get it this week" What they didn't have it in stock?

Guess I'm a newb, but how doe...... ah... OUTLET... ha.. got it...

Man that's a great deal.

They had that exact same set up for $621 brand new online about a week ago. I didn't jump on it right away and I paid the price...literally ...the next day.

yeah that is a good price... i got mine from outlet for £720...... same spec except came with a 80GB 5400 HDD instead.

It does take some time to ship it, you know.

Well, technically, you're not buying it at the mall. You're buying it from the Dell website. Anyway, why does it matter?

That's a real good price you got. I suggest an upgrade of the RAM to 1GB, but other than that, you'll be fine.

should have it friday maybe, hoping it comes by then. i could not refuse it at that price, i sometimes don,t understand dells pricing in the dell outlet, but got it at 2 a.m.. ...just got lucky, because most of them with same specs as mine were actuall around $700+

Freak4Dell... I answered my own post... I thought he meant outlet as in Mall as in he went somewhere to get it.... that's why his 'shipping' statement confused me... then I realilzed he was talking about the outlet on the dell site.

I've been parusing (sp?) the outlet myself....makes me wonder (and pissed) how many scripters are getting all the great deals.


Ron, was that $653 shipped to your door??? If not, how much was the grand total?
