I have the Sager 8887-V with the ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 with 128Mb of ram, and running XP pro. Just wanted to know what are the latest proven drivers that work with this machine. I tried downloading the Catalyst 5.7 but the inspection prog states "Unfortunately, this software update cannot be installed on your system. PLease contact your notebook maufacturer for updates.
I am still using the drivers that came with the machine in May 2003. I believe that there were some issues with the 8887 ??
I am new to fiddling around with drivers, but wanted to get a better display. Assumed that I could use the latest Catalyst with the Mobility Modding thing on here. I will also try the Omega site. Any help gratefully received.
