Ferrari 4005 - WinXP X64 - ATI X700 Driver issue.

I seem to be having a strange issue with the ATI video driver control panel.

I've been getting my copy of WinXP X64 that I got through the exchange program setup on my Ferrari 4005.

After the initial installation of the display driver's provided from Acer for the X700 and the X64 platform, everything looks fine. The control panel has all the typical tabs, I.E. OpenGL, DirectX, blah blah blah.

After I so much as log off of Administrator and into my primary accout (which does have Admin rights as well) the control panel for the display will be hosed. As in, the only tab available under the "Advanced" button besides the stock Windows tabs will be "PowerPlay" and that one doesn't even work at that.

I don't have a clue what is wrong.
Any ideas.

BTW, I've tried to use the Catalyst 5.7's with MobilityModder and the CCC won't load up at all with those.

Here is a screen shot.

Have u installed .NET? Catalyst CCC requires .NET 1.1 Framework to run.
You can get it from microsoft download in case you missed it.

Hi Sarc... I just experienced the same issue yesterday, after logging into my account instead of the administrator user... Did 5.7 worked on your xp64? Thanks...

I'm currently using Catalyst 6.5 for x64.

This problem was simply from not having the .NET Runtime installed.

Thanks Sarc... will try today to install 6.5 using mobility modder...

If you are running WinXP x64, you don't need the "mobility modder".

Just start the catalyst install from the downloaded file so that it extracts it's contents. Then cancel the install and install the drivers and CCC manualy.
Works perfectly.
