Windows Question

Is there anyway to retrieve my windows key from the registry or something? I seem to have replaced the little sheet with the key on it because my family has been frantically been moving things because of hurricane Dennis. Could anyone help me with this please?



Edit: This is Windows XP Professional by the way.

Google on the following "windows cd key retrieve". There are bunches of cd key readers out there.

Is the ProductID the same as the CD key?

Actually, these don't work. I think if u have SP1 or higher installed, it encrypts the key so that when u use a cd key sniffer it gives you a non working key.
