I have a SagerNP 4791, Omega drivers installed, and I can play Battlefield 2 no sweat having gone through MAJOR steps.

When I try to play the bink video of BF2:MC my screen goes all thin lines and I can hear the video playing but cannot see it.

My laptop cannot handle 60hertz refresh rate because my monitor is unrecognised.

In order to get Battlefield 2 to work I had to attach an external monitor that could handle 60htz refresh rate because the default setup on battlefield 2 is 800 x 600 @ 60htz.

I installed the latest omega drivers.
Right clicked on desktop to get to display properties.
Clicked settings tab then advanced button.
Clicked displays tab and clicked the power icon on both the monitor and the panel button (with the left mouse button) making the external monitor my default display and the lcd display turned off when I click the apply button.

Now my primary display can handle the 60hertz refresh rate and I can start up battlefield 2, create a profile, and change the resolution and refresh rate to 1024 x 768 @75htz and applying the changes.

Now we just have to get the displays back to normal. Get back to the monitors tab and click both power icons to get the external monitor turned off and the lcd panel turned back on(making the lcd the primary again).

Taadaa! Battlefield 2 now works. I am glad I figured that out but if there is a way to identify my "default monitor" to the model number it really is, I bet the LCD could handle the 60 htz refresh no problem. And now everytime I want to add a user I have to go through the whole process again! AARRRGGG!

Any pointers? Has this already been discussed? Anyone else dealing with this problem?
