I am a poor college freshman and I am trying to connect to the internet, using NetZero, on my new Powerbook G4... ha. "poor" and "new Powerbook G4" kinda make that sentence an oxymoron, no?
anyhoo. It has taken me forever to configure the settings for the modem since I used to connect through Ethernet at my high school and that was a practically brainless process.
What I need to know is how to configure the web proxy server thing.
Do I use a public web proxy server? is there a way to go around this without having to use the whole "bypass these hosts and domains" thing?
If I sound like an idiot or if I've misused any lingo, forgive me. And any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
