I thought it was just me and being hard of hearing....but does anyone else have problems with the volume their Sentia puts out. I have it turned all the way up and I can still only hear it if it is quiet in the room. Any suggestions?

Yeah I have checked all of those and everything is maxed out. I guess I should call tech support. I just hate to risk sending it back in...Anybody else have any ideas what might be wrong?

How is the volume using headphones? If the volume is soft there then I would try uninstalling the audio driver (software) and reinstalling it. I had problems with the delivered "tested" alienware windows xp install so I did my own and installed the audio drivers afterwords.

Well I hadn't thought of that. The sound level is the same through headphones. I have a pair of powered speakers I have had to start using when I want to hear a movie or anything like that. The thing I hate is having to pull all that out and mess with cords just so I can hear it. Even with the speakers maxed out it is still rather quiet. I mostly do this when I am doing laundry at night where I work. The industrial machines are loud but not that loud. I will try the driver thing and see what it does. Anyone else that has ideas feel free to let me hear 'em.
