Mines been doing the same thing with WoW. if i minimize it, it goes black with lines sometimes and you have to turn off the laptop to get it to come back... it's annoying

I've had WoW do that several times. Rather annoying indeed.

No it is not critial. I have had it disabled for couple weeks after installing 77.76 drivers and their are no issues excep tmaking the nvpxx.dll erro go away when you are shutting down.

guys are you talking about the NVSVC.EXE error at shutdown , if yes , this is exactly the problem I'm having . Isn't there a way to FIX the problem instead of just disabling the service and ignore the problem.

I"m not flaming here but I mean if we are having this error, there might be something wrong ? If I remember well the first time I got the error message was after instaling the drivers 80.40 from laptopvideo. I then deleted them (yes I cleaned with driver cleaner pro before reinstalling the new ones) and the went to the 77.77 and now on the 77.72 but i'm still getting this error message.

NVSVC.EXE memroy violation and a bunch of numbers

Does anyone else find it strange that not everyone has this problem? (And no I am not saying anyone here in this thread is crazy or did anything to cause this)

I just mean what is it that causes this to happen so some systems and not other? (Especially identical systems). I know not every system is exactly identical but it is weird.

Is your problems with shutdowns and WOW specifically with the XPS? I mean I only have the 6800 Go in my system and would assume other than clock settings our drivers are the same since there is no extra funtionalities that the Ultra has over the vanillia 6800 Go.

Sometimes it make me wonder.
