Hello guys,

Just thought I'd let some of you know that Toshiba has discounted both the F20 and G20 by roughly $500 CAD. The F20 (15.4" model) is now $2299.95 CAD and the G20 $2999.95 CAD. Much better!!

And no I still haven't decided which laptop I'm going to get yet. Glad I waited though as many of the manufacturers I have been considering have discounted their models. That and buying a laptop for me would just be for the ability to have a computer I can use around the house (or outside). Not a necessity. Any how...

I was and still am also considering an Apple Powerbook. Their 17" is now also $2999.95. And thier 15" I believe $2399.95 (CAD). Not bad at all!! Should make Powerbooks more attractive to people previously considering one but held back due to the high cost. I've always respected the thought that has gone into the design of the Mac OS and associated hardware.

Also, Alienware has just introduced 2 new Centrino based laptops. Reasonably priced as well. As a matter a fact I think offers one of the better values on the market today. Price one out!

Decisions, decisions...

Take care guys!

Sorry to bring this thread up from the dead, but hows everythin likin thier G20 or F20...im interested in buying F20 and im practically sold on it thanks to Fidget! But i would like some reviews from real people not toshiba clones. Let me know what you think of the F20, if you have one, seen it, used it.

Medium Gaming,(EA Sports games, a bit of Fear maybe...if it can handle it) Video (one of the best i heard), Battery Life, and ease of Portability.

Right now i have an A70 and cant wait to return it back to the school and get my secuirty deposit...they want $1000 Canadian to buy it out!! haha rediculous...
BTW Im gettin the F20 fro about $1400 heard its a decent price...anythin comparable in that price range new?
