No offense, JDMTEG98, but having a for-sale thread as your first post makes you look shady (that and there's no such thing as a 400GB, I'll assume you mean 40GB), so some people may suspect you are a scammer. You are really going to have to prove yourself: eBay feedback, heatware, etc.

Secondly, according to the For Sale Forum Rules, links to eBay and the like (except for feedback links) are not allowed: See " * No auction style posts (take it to eBay). This includes links to auctions on other sites too." under the "Trading Rules" section.

So, if you are not a scammer, make a good impression and prove yourself worthy of a sale. If you are scammer, then (a) you are not welcome here and (b) someone else will flame you better than I could

Try checking my eBay auction you can see my feedback their. Sure this is the first time I have used this auction, thought it would be a great place to advertise the sell of my laptop to those interested in purchasing one.

Its not a scam since its on eBay. I not sure how you want me to prove it
How about this? If you are in the Raleigh and Durham area of NC you are welcome to come see it or pick it up if you want to purchase it.

You still have not posted a price - If your simply trying to drive traffic to ebay this is not the place . . . please post a price per the forum rules

I am not sure what its worth thus stating make an offer or bid on eBay. Whats the crime here?

I can state a price sure $900.00 but how do I know it is competitive or at a rate people are willing to pay

Doesn't have to be the right price it's just the forum rules - we all have to meet them - usually if people don't know the price they put up something high and wait for offers - is 900 your price then?
