How do I disable the touchpad

It's driving me crazy. Logitech Setpoint will not install properly because it sees the stupid touchpad as a PS/2 mouse. Without setpoint installed you can't configure the mouse buttons. Most laptop BIOSes have an option to disable the touchpad, but it appears the Sager 9880 doesn't. I've tried uninstalling it in Windows, but that doesn't work either. Any suggestions. I love my 9880 so far, but this is really frustrating.

Try Disabling The Touchpad Driver In System Properties.

Use the Icon from the System Tray or Mouse settings from the Control Panel. Then click on Device Setting and Disable.
