So my crappy day CONTINUES

Let's face it...today hasn't exactly been a day to remember, dogs crapping inside, cat threw up on my Jaguar shirt, wife wants me to take her shoe-shopping for the kids..........bleeech!

So I'm finally home and and check my downloads to find that my news server has kakked and instead of having the complete Season 1 of Lost I have episodes 3-7.

Nice.

Well at least dinner will be good. Giant prawns grilled in a garlicky buttery sauce followed by lemon chicken.

But the sucky day continues..........10 minutes after swallowing the last prawn I loggon to play some CS:S, as I have not played for the last 3mnths.

I loggon, see Hammer, Craig, Saint, Plage, all the regulars. I get killed lots, managed to kill Craig and within 5 minutes I start getting a shellfish reaction. Luckily I know the symptoms and down a couple of anti-histamines before it gets really bad. But I'm itching and can't concentrate...so I loggoff to go itch somewhere peacefully....to find my wife and kids on my bed in front of my tv watching Extreme Home Make-overs....

Lord? Please? Kill me now?????

thats a rough one red....

its my birthday and so far quite disappointing other than some great kudos here... seems that my parents were jerking me around the week since my mom spent the week hinting about a new laptop for me and now comes the day and i end up getting told no new laptop for you for your birthday no matter what.... if you dont like it too bad work more hours and buy one with your own money... god seems like the days aer great for everyone... at least im not alone.

Red - tomorrow will be better. Sounds like you need to spend more time in the Shed.

I thought I had a bad day yesterday. After my chemo, I got stuck in traffic and puked a little in my wife's BMW... I know it was only a little because the "eine kleine pukenhoffer" warning light went off in the dash. The "grossen pukenberger" light didn't go off.

Today, I'm in a drug induced stupor, makes getting killed in CSS not so bad, but I feel for you red. Thanks for making me feel better about my day though.

jeez and all i had to complain about is not getting a new notebook today.... compared to hammerhead its nothing... hope your feeling better and they get you on some good pain killers... if not come to canada there will be some newly legal ones soon that should make you feel better....

Guntizzle - not allergic, just sometimes I get the reaction, 9 times out of 10 I'm fine.
<was damn good shrimp though!>

Hammer - as always, you put things in perspective, thanks bro!

Fidget - Happy Birthday bro! I'm looking forward to mine, apparently a Bose SoundDock is in my future as well as an iTrip....here's hoping!

i lucked out with a nice new itrip mini today and a new digital camera of my choice... i get to pick any model i want... not quite the new notebook i was expecting but still a very nice haul in my opinion. and i still have about 5 gifts to open tommorow with my family. also my brothers got me a nice bottle of single malt scotch so im very happy with that

so any suggestions on the camera?

I have a 5 megapixel Cybershot from Sony works ;pretty well.. I would go with a nokia tho.

Wow! I thought I was having a bad time of it... I was diagnosed with degenerative disk disease L4/L5 S1 (Spine lingo) and had a bad spasm that lasted four days. But after hearing about Hammerhead's experiences, my problems are insignificant. Your resolve to get through your ordeal is awe inspiring! I have the 7.2 DSC200 which works flippin sweet.

I started my day off bad:
When rinsing contacts off to put in eye I used the peroxide solution instead. Filled the contact up with in an put right into my eye. I then yelled profanities which I am sure my son will repeat at the opportune time.
Shortly after I took a shower with the wife. She must have thought I was paticularly sexy this morning as she proceeded to shave my back. All I heard was Fat Bastard's voice in my head saying "Oohhh, I am dead sexy". All I wanted was my cold bottle of Jager and a warm bed after that. Well, perhaps a bullet.

My day was good I think:

Came to work there were just a few issues that had to be taken care of so I was done by lunch. Spent the rest of the day lurking around NBF and taking care of minor issues that popped during the afternoon at work.

Later went to the nearby (s)mall and they had a show of arabian music complete with two gorgeous belly dancers (drool) and stayed there until the show was over. Learning about other cultures can be um.... entertaining.

Later on went home and watched my taped shows and went to bed.

(note: the best part of the day were the belly dancers)
