Update:

Switched to Marklar Uber-Patched iso, ITS THE SHIT!!!

Its a 4 gig bootable DVD that runs like a regular OSX install DVD!!!

U can then install native to any drive or partition u want.
Be careful will overwrite MBR, havent figured how to fix this yet.

It has been patched to boot with a sse2 machine.(Normally only boots on sse3 machine)
It has been patched to allow sse2 machine to run all non-sse3 stuff.(sse3 required for rosetta which allows u to run and install native ppc programs)
It has been patched to convert most sse3 instructions to sse2.(Rosetta works and so does native ppc software)

Its the shit, a little slower than deadmoo image but stable and runs most everything!

Not sure, there are several marklar iso's about, I got one and applied the patch.
Wasnt supposed to work cuz it had wrong md5 but it did.

Dont even know what Quartz Extreme is to even tell u, sry.

I've applied the Release 1 to my marklar.iso (all MD5s ok) just need to burn it and install.

Quartz Extreme are extensions to allow the GPU to handle 2d drawing.
Core Image is the same but for 3d drawing.

You dont require any of these but the graphics tends to be smoother and you get a little bit more eye candy with Quartz enabled (although since I've got my 1400x1050 working quartz will not so hoping a native dvd install with sort it out)

As far as I know QE and CG require hardware acceleration, and only the intel 900 GMA has this up to know.

QE does work on mine, just no CI yet. It seems to make a big difference when it comes to things like genie for the dock, smooth screensavers, and heavy graphics apps.
