Wow. So you're giving him a pile because... you think he should stop responding to fake trolls and he doesn't post enough?

That's just unreal. Perhaps you should contribute to the farking thread or shut your hole.

As for the discussion, it's a matter of opinion, from my viewpoint. Some swear by Mac, others PCs. I have used both and I prefer the latter by a good distance. My XPS2 is quite a nicely built notebook, regardless of what anyone who hasn't used it says.

Honestly, it is pretty damn obvious to all of you that Mac users get bashed far more often then we bash PC users. It's nearly impossible, even when the post is tasteful, to post anything Apple related in these general forums without being slammed. Face it, we have a difference in opinion, that doesn't mean one is better then the other, but we all but what suits us best.

that is true, there is no denying that, but this forum is more of a gamer laptop forum then anything else, so that is bound to happen, its more of the respect thing, I would never go into a mac dominated forum and be like

"I just gots offs ma 1337 haxors box, and needs uber shiny shittymac box for 1337 web work." (i would never talk like that in any situation, but its to make a point)

Its about presentation, and anyway i was a bit wired yesterday, I started something that should not have been.

Yeah, I say the ASUS units are your best bet for the parent.

I think that the sony s360 is a very sleek well built machine, thats if you like smaller notebooks though...

And I think a few people here need to grow up. The guy likes the build quality or his Powerbook and hasn't found anything equivilant in the PC world. Big sodding deal. I know that my i9200 dosen't have the build quality of a Powerbook - why don't I care, because I bought it because I got a hell of alot more computer than I would with a Powerbook for about the same price.

(however the i9200/i9300/xps2 chassis are all solid and well built - no screen flex, and my keyboard is good to - they just can't go toe to toe with the Powerbook Aesthetically)

Anyway, can you name one computer apart from the aforementioned Asus brands that can compete with the Powerbook in terms of Aesthetics and Build Quality.

I own the asus W1N, my nephew own powerbook G4,
i can say the quality isabout the same !!!!
Asus W1N is much betterbuild and more solid than my ferrari 4005
if u want style over performance, go get asus W2/W1 u'll not be dissapionted!
