Messanger bag for XPS ( booq question )

I decided to call dell and cancell my backordered targus messanger.

Now i need a good messanger, and after looking almost everywhere, i think im going to go with http://www.booqbags.com/Detail.bok?no=16 the folee messanger 17 from booq bag.

However there is an option the FM17 System, whicih includes a hard case.. Howeer I dont believe that the XPS wouold fit in the hard case. Does anyone have this bag / hard case. Or does anyone have a good messanger bag that looks good like the folee? Basically im looking for something that isn't oversized, but can still carry my laptop and a book witha couple notebooks or something.

thanks in advance

Just got the Booqbag FM17 - not the system with the extra sleeve/case. The plain FM17 should provide plenty of protection, as it has a completely separate section (with cover) for the computer. Then there are a few pockets for other stuff, including notebooks etc. It also looks good.

I agree. The bag looks good and is very well made. It is relatively slim, but is somewhat wide to fit a 17" notebook. It's not exactly a "carry all" bag like a Timbuk2 messenger bag, but it is big enough to carry your laptop and all the little accessories for it.

The extra sleeve does NOT work. It appears to be made for the Apple Powerbook 17'

I also have the Boa XL Laptop Backpack which came with the Vyper XL 17' sleeve and the XPS 2 is too fat for it also.

You have to get the Viper XXL. I bought the system Boa.XL that came with the Viper XXL but YOu have to call them. It is not an option on their website.

Make sure you call them for the Viper XXL sleeve.

i've always loved the look of the booqbags. Personally, i've used a leather victorinox webmaster 2.0 bag to carry aorund my 14" Portable One MX.

When I got my XPS last week, i was going to buy the booqbag Viper XXL, but i found a Victorinox Webmaster 2.0 PLUS that fits my XPS perfectly, with plenty of addt'l room for files, etc. I got mine for a great $129 at nordstrom rack (lowest price i could find online was ~$170. When i told my friends, they rushed over to pick some up for themselves. here's a link/pic in case anyone's interested:
