New 8890 Motherboard Needed.

Hello All,

Does anyone know where I can get a 8890 motherboard? I have a 8887 that has taken a royal dump and wanted to get the upgrade. I called Sager only to find out that production of the 8890 motherboards had stopped. They said they can repair my computer but, I would like to at LEAST upgrade the computer if I am going to spend several hundred dollars to fix it. Please tell me where the 8890 motherboard stash is!!!!!!!!!!

As you now know, the production of that whole range of models has ceased, so finding a motherboard is going to be pretty tough. Good call emailing Sager, but seeing as they don't have any, try emailing Clevo (the actual manufacturer of the unit) and maybe some of the resellers such as PCTorque, Hypersonic etc. Can't remember who exactly sold the same machines, but some research should reveal more. Also check eBay and the forum For Sale section - might get lucky.
