Can someone please post the media compatibility list for the Sony DVD Burner (DW-D56A)?

Thanks in advance and sorry if this is a duplicate post as I could not find the answer by doing a search in this forum

On a related, but unrelated note, is everyone else's sony drive as loud as mine is? I almost hate to use it because of how loudly it clicks.
It seems to work fine, but the sound is annoying.

I have not been here in a little while but i think there was something you could do to fix this problem. I think it involved removing the drive and re-instaling it. My drive is quiet. Yours should be too. Maybe do a search for it.

Yes, I meant Media Manufacturers along with the DVD+/-R speed rating.

"the" list? I don't know if anyone's actually compiled one.
If anyone has, though, it's probably the guys at www.cdrfreaks.com or www.cdmediaworld.com or somesuch.
