XPS 2 Owners: Post Your 6800 Ultra OC

Prefer to read about stable OC's where no additional cooling is needed (lappy coolers are ok)

Mine is now at 500/1300 stable.

Also, anyone notice that the sager9880/aw7700 guys aren't getting crazy OC scores, or any for that matter...?

Dell still owns

**UPDATE**
3DMark03 @ 500/1300 just using my lappy cooler...

Man that score owns my old X800XT PE

LOL 3DMark05 just went up.......

3DMark05 @ 500/1300, ended some processes, driver set to high performance....

Also, the Dell driver didn't take the OC well, scores were low. I believe I scored about 12,600 in 3DMark03 running the same bench..... so Yeah no more Dell drivers for me...

That's right Kiddies 6022!!!!!!!!!

So far that is the highest score for the given clock speed....

All stable

Have you tried running Farcry at those speeds? And if it runs stable... what temps are you getting?
My card is running at 487/1200 right now...

I got 512/1300 rock solid, with lappy cooler.

Running the HDR demo 525 freezes when hitting 81 degrees (hehe, freezes at 81 degrees ), but 512 it can run for an hour at 81 degrees and it keeps up churnin' those rays.

470 / 1100 because that's the only boost I need to get BF2 running smoothly with EVERYTHING maxed at 1600x1200. That and because I'm afraid to test it any higher. Runs at 72 C.

475/1100 stays at 75 max during BF2. No colling whatsoever.

You know it! Well temps do get in the 90's in some games but it is still stable. Plays BF2 nicely at 1920x1200

77.77 Driver set to high performance....

Just got a round of GTR FIA in and my temps were 90c...
77.77 is better than 80.40??
And does the high performance setting change the video quality?
(I remember nVidia also setting some performance setings in their drivers to gain 3DMar scores, then they called it scheating).
i have mine set at 513 1250. it doesn't lock up, no artifacts and it doesnt overheat, plays games around 67 degrees but i can't use 3dmark05, locks up everytime. i don't know what my benchmark is but i can play the shit out of games like never before so screw 3dmark......
hm....I hope I won't be beaten for this question...but how do you OC your Ultra?
I read the thread on 6800Go OC and it seemed to me as if the Ultra was only overclockable with Bios Mod or this one driver with auto oc.

I use 80.40. Every time I try "Find optimal..." I have to reboot

What's the latest on running 3DMark 2003 (not 2005!) when overclocked? Mine locks up in the Nature test at 500 core 1250 memory. Everything else seems to work fine. Also, anyone has a whining noise from the rhs of the laptop when in intensive graphics?

XSKY, look up the thread on video card BIOS modding. In a nutshell, there are modified BIOS files available and you can flash them to your card resulting in the modified core and memory settings.

512/1225 OC -temps are gpu-51c idle 79c-load all very stable, running 78.10 drivers nice IQ. Looks like I could go a little higher on OC from some of these other posts

What drivers are you useing? Any special overclocking tools? And what kind of cooler do you have? I can't even get a score in the 5000s with 05....and I have the exact same system as you do.

I am using 77.77.

I am using the bios mod (search)

I am using this cooler... may be modding it somehow.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834999412

What settings are you using for 3DMark05? CSS?
For CSS, everything on high, all the way up. 3DMark05 was left just the way it came when I downloaded it. Just the trial demo.
