I just reinstalled windows and everything else on my i9300. I have the 80.40 drivers and in PowerDVD I have a vertical line on the right side of the screen when watching a DVD. Does anyone else have this problem? How can I fix it?

I purchased this Nook Color specifically because I was taking a very long trip to China and wanted to be able to read without carrying a ton of books. I also liked that it had email capability...

PowerDVD Vertical Line Problem

I have the exact same problem. I've been trying to find a solution too. Too expand on the problem, i have a vertical line on the right side (reddish and a little squiggly). I'm not sure if it is Power DVD because i played a dvd using windows media player and the line is also there. I dont think it is the lcd screen because when a dvd is played and is semi minimized, the line is also there. That is the line is on the far right of the movie but not on the far right of the screen. I wonder if it has anything to do with the video drivers. Aside from playing a movie, the screen has no vertical line. I know the problem is not with the dvd itself because I've played 3-4 movies and still the same problem.
Any suggestions? Everyone's help is greatly appreciated.

I've had this problem twice and fixed it both times. The first time was when I first received my i9300. After calling tech support, I fixed it by the following method:
1) Power down PC
2) Remove battery and disconnect everything from the laptop, including power module, headphones, USB stuff, PCMCIA card, etc.
3) Hold down the power button (the one above the keyboard & under the Dell logo...) for 10 seconds.
4) Reconnect all and boot up.
The second time was after I installed the new Dell release nVidia drivers. I fixed it that time by installing 80.40 drivers from laptopvideo2go.
Even if you are already using those 80.40 drivers, I'd try reinstalling them or try a different driver release.
Hope one (or both) of these methods helps.
