New Promise ATA drivers

Here ya go for anyone who might need these

I just looked at them and the ULSATA and TXTSETUP.OEM are missing which need to be in the root directory of the floppy. But those can be copied from the original drivers. It's also ony the WinXP version but that is what most are using.

You can always get it directly from the Clevo website under RAID, which has had it posted since 6/14/2005.

If you take everything in the ATA folder and copy it to the root it works fine.

So you are saying when installing WinXP and you hit F6 that the Setup program will install the ATA Drivera without those files ?

Don't you just right click the inf file, install, and then restart?

You need those files ULSATA and TXTSETUP.OEM to install from scratch but not to upgrade. But in this case to Upgrade after the OS is installed you can't just right click install. You have to use Device Manager under the SCSI and RAID controllers and Maunal Update (find the files) .

If you are installing from scratch... which you must do with x64... then you must boot from the CD and push F6... after it has loaded a few files it will ask you to specify drivers...

PS. Your bios must be set to ATA mode.
