well in another 20-25 min the video should be posted here, I figured i should just use my ISP provided web-space assuming I can. Anyway eventually i need to find another source if people other than this board downloads the video, please dont post the video on other sites yet.

i'll try to put it on a tracker site if you can send me a link before you send it to everybody (so i can download it in a reasonable amount of time).

pm me or email me 8086ed (at) gmail (.) com

btw, you could just use the bandwidth the isp gave you for torrent files and not offer the file off of the personal space. i think your isp would be much happier

ok here is the video:
http://members.dslextreme.com/users/...c%20os%20x.avi

You need xvid to play this, or download my favorite player:

http://ftp5.mplayerhq.hu/mplayer/rel...32-1.0pre7.zip
extract the zip and drag/drop avi file to mplayer.exe, (might just show as mplayer depending on explorer settings) it can play tons of file types/codecs that are compiled into the player, and almost everything if u download the codec packs, needed for like (real media/quicktime/windows media stuff/etc)

the player's controls:
f= full screen
right arrow= forward 10 seconds
left arrow = back 10 seconds
up arrow = forward 1 minute
down arrow= back 1 minute
q= quit
9/0= volume adjust
m=mute

the video is about 5 min

iTunes running on an SSE2 processor? Are you sure? Unless you've installed some kind of emulator, iTunes requires SSE3 to run... plus, its still set on the PowerPC arch, not the Intel arch.

Edit (again): Apparently it's working for somebody, so here's the link again. To login use

USR: 8086ed

know any trackers that dont require registration ill move it off my webspace as soon as there is a torrent without registration
post #36 of 462
do you just wanna host the torrent file?
post #37 of 462

na you still have that problem because it says cannot connect to tracker unknown host, its not just a matter of registring to get the torrent

WOW i was amazed running xbench the PPC version I got:

52.69
http://ladd.dyndns.org/xbench/merge.xhtml?doc1=128408

running the native x86 version I got

55.50
http://ladd.dyndns.org/xbench/merge.xhtml?doc1=127851

I was amazed at such a little difference. Maybe even without SSE3 the pentium M is really good with rosetta? what kind of difference do other people look see?
post #38 of 462
sweet. yeah, i honestly don't know wtf is goin on with the torrent. i'll leave the one i set up until people stop downloading from it for awhile.
post #39 of 462
we could find out our scores with the patched rosetta if you'd make a guide
post #40 of 462
